We raised £10,000 and the Big Give doubled your impact to £20,000, helping us support these families throughout the year.
Since Christmas 2020 we have partnered with Cambridge Fruit Company to provide families in need with Christmas Dinner.
The Red Hen Project has been part of this year’s Big Give Christmas Challenge, where every donation made through our page on BigGive.org was matched — doubling the impact on children in need in Cambridge.
For those already struggling with low income, the pressure to make the season special can make things even harder. Parents want to give their children a day of joy, but it often comes at a high cost.
That’s why our Christmas Appeal is so important. It helps us provide Christmas dinner boxes but crucially the essential wrap-around support, like one-on-one sessions and our drop-in groups to support children and their families beyond Christmas. Matched donations make a real difference, helping children enjoy a brighter, more secure holiday season.
